GRADUATE TESTIMONIALS
There is nothing like working for brands you believe in and are passionate about. I have memories of family road trips in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and now I drive a 2017 – just like my dad. I worked the validation of that same model and it taught me what our vehicles are truly capable of.
I’ve also the chance to work on the next generation of Jeep Wrangler products, which are still top secret. Being involved is truly exciting. Opportunities at FCA are endless and the global reach is astonishing. You can accomplish anything you want here. You can find your niche, make an impact, and work on products that everyone loves and talks about.
I knew FCA was an exciting company to work for. There was a focus on innovation and trying new things, being different from the rest. That was something I wanted to be a part of. I was able join the Chrysler Institute of Engineer (CIE) program, see how different parts of the company work, and even get my masters in Mechanical Engineering.
I also had the opportunity to work in the FCA Innovation Lab. It’s a whole space dedicated to pushing people outside their comfort zone. It was a really fun experience and made me think in a different way. When you join FCA, you will have the chance to work with passionate and talented people too.
My father and many family friends have worked for FCA for their entire careers. So when I wanted to advance and learn about a new industry, I had positive feelings about what FCA could offer.
I really enjoy the atmosphere and the way we strive for continuous improvement. Plus, I like how diverse the company is in terms of brands, departments and positions. There are so many avenues to explore. You are able to continue to grow and have all kinds of opportunities under one roof.
I have always had a passion for Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram vehicles. Since working for the company, my feeling about our brands have only been strengthened. In my opinion, we build the best vehicles and parts in the industry.
I had a very positive view of FCA prior to joining the company for a summer internship and ultimately took a position at the Denver Business Center. One of the highlights of my career so far has been representing FCA at the MOPAR Mile High Nationals drag races. It’s an amazing company with great benefits and many opportunities to grow and develop.
I didn’t know much about FCA as an employer before joining the company. Everything I knew was about Jeep’s off-road performance, the muscle of the Charger and Challenger, and the Viper as a track vehicle. Once I started working here, I realized that the reason that these vehicles are so iconic is the passion of our designers, engineers and builders.
One of the most important things that I’ve learned about working here is that you have considerable control over your career destiny. I was originally drawn to aerodynamics and the wind tunnel, only to find that I enjoy the complex challenges of the powertrain group. I’ve been able to explore where my interests best align and am now creating a new prototype transmission component.
The people here love cars and love to drive. If you have a passion for cars, and want a job you can’t wait to go to every day, consider the different opportunities at FCA. It’s an exciting time … and your drive, ability and enthusiasm can go a long way.
I chose to work with FCA because of the opportunities provided by the Chrysler Institute of Engineering (CIE) program. None of the competitors that I interviewed with could offer such a broad range of auto industry exposure. Plus, with FCA being a smaller company (than other automotive companies), each engineer has more responsibility and the opportunity to grow and learn through hands-on work.
The most exciting project that I’ve worked on so far was on powertrain calibration for the Hellcat and other SRT products. My group went to Colorado so we could test the vehicles in high-altitude conditions, observe performance and make changes. Working at FCA is a great experience, with a multitude of opportunities to grow and find satisfaction in work that you are passionate about!
